If you have an account

• Your email address, and a scrambled (hashed) copy of your password. We can't see the password itself.
• What you put on your pages: your profile, cast, shows, videos and images. These are public; that's what they're for.
• Messages people send you through your pages, which only you can read.

We use your email to sign you in and to send account emails, like password resets and new-message alerts. We don't send marketing email.

To stop password guessing, failed sign-ins are noted for 15 minutes, then deleted.

If you visit a page

Creators see simple analytics: how many people visited, what they watched, which country they were in, what kind of device they used and which site sent them. To count each visitor once a day, we turn their IP address and browser details into a scrambled code that changes every day. The IP address itself isn't stored, and the code can't be used to follow anyone from one day to the next or across other sites.

If you send a message or a report

A message goes to the creator, with the name, email and anything else you typed into the form. A report goes only to pretenza. To stop floods of spam, we keep a scrambled code of where each one was sent from. It can't be turned back into your IP address.

Cookies

pretenza uses no advertising or tracking cookies. It only keeps:

• A sign-in cookie, while you're signed in
• Your time zone, so dates and charts show in your local time
• Your display settings, like light or dark mode, saved in your own browser

Who else handles data

Only the services that run the site: Railway, which hosts it and stores the files, and Resend, which delivers our emails. They handle data only to provide those services.

Deleting your data

Delete anything you've uploaded whenever you like. Deleting your account (in Settings) removes your account, your pages, your uploads and your messages for good; backups are cleared over time. For any other privacy request, write to hello@pretenza.ai.
