Your work stays yours

You keep every right to the characters, videos, images and words you put on pretenza. To show them, you give us permission to store, display and stream them on the site, and to make smaller copies (like thumbnails and compressed videos) for that. This permission ends when you delete them or your account, apart from copies in backups, which are cleared over time.

Only post what you have the right to post

When you upload something, you're telling us it's yours, or that you have permission to use it. Don't post:

• Work that belongs to someone else, or characters you don't have the rights to
• Anything pretending to be another person, creator or company
• Sexual content involving minors, content that harasses or threatens people, or anything illegal
• Spam, scams, or anything meant to mislead visitors

Anyone can report a page from its ⋮ menu. We may remove content or close an account that breaks these rules, with or without notice.

Messages and deals

Visitors can message creators about their characters and shows. pretenza only passes the message along. Any deal that comes out of it, like a licence, a commission or a collaboration, is between you and the other person. We aren't part of it and aren't responsible for it, so check who you're dealing with before you agree to anything.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings, which removes your pages and everything you've uploaded. Each account has storage and upload limits, shown when you upload.

The service

pretenza is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your work safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, so keep your own copies of anything important. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from using the site. We may change or stop features, and we may update these terms; if a change is significant, we'll say so on the site.

If something here is yours and was posted without permission, use Report on its page and choose “Stolen or copied work”, with a link to the original. For formal legal notices, write to hello@pretenza.ai.
